Thursdays 9:00-10:00am
$10 per class or $60 per six week session. Limit 10.
Resistance training are workouts that build strength and muscle. It's also been shown to strengthen bones and reduce age-related decline in muscle mass.

Historical Speakers for Seniors presents The History of Thanksgiving which explores the evolution of this beloved American holiday from colonial times to the present day. While the famous Feast of 1621—the original "Thanksgiving"—receives significant attention, this presentation also examines how Thanksgiving developed and changed during other important periods in American history, including the Early Republic, the Civil War, the Turn of the Century, and the World Wars. In addition, we will discuss Thanksgiving's role in American culture, including football traditions, parades, and Native American perspectives.
